Riccardo & Giancarlo Camanini
Showcase of northern Italian culinary art
Lake Garda at the foot of the Alps. Here, on the border of mountains and hills, lies the tranquil town of Gardone surrounded by lush gardens. Legendary are the lemon and olive groves. Here the brothers Giancarlo and Riccardo Camanini have realized their dream of their own restaurant Lido 84. The former lido with direct lake access is imaginatively and lovingly decorated and a showcase of northern Italian culinary art. In the kitchen, mountain milk meets eel, sardines and stracchino cheese, typical of Lombardy, which borders the lake to the west. Of course, olives and lemons are not to be missed. The flowers of the local wisteria (blue vine) are used for desserts. The Michelin writes about the starred chef Riccardo “The chef is probably one of the most brilliant in his category in all of Italy”. Lido 84 is ranked 15th in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021 list.
